Hi, I’m Sofia, and I’m the person behind this blog. I was born on the year of the Dog (2006). My hobbies are making embroideries (when i have the time to), reading books, collecting cool sticks and branches, writing random stuff, and playing games occasionally (mostly RPG ^-^). My dad created this blog for me when I was two years old, with the intention of filling it with my portfolio and documenting my activities.
I’ve been homeschooled since first grade and have never attended a formal or public school. Being a homeschooler has given me many perspectives on learning. Since I want to pursue STEM, I chose Biology as my major in uni.
In a world full of short videos, I still enjoy the quietness and calmness of blogging. When I was younger, I used to browse all kinds of personal blogs and read posts about people simply being themselves, sharing how they felt, and connecting with others through email. Sure, it wasn’t as fast as today’s instant messaging, but it was fun and chaotic.
I think that’s why I feel such a sense of belonging when I write blog posts too. I love that I don’t have to worry about how my feed looks or whether my posts and photos seem “outdated.” This blog feels like the perfect place to share my thoughts, be myself, and connect with others.
